Principles, goals, methods and strategies for teaching mathematics in elementary and middle school. Topics include: integrating math with literacy, differentiation, knowledge and implementation of curriculum, lesson planning, and assessment. This course is restricted to students in the professional degree completion program. Prerequisite: admission to the teacher education program.
