Computer Lab and Computer Classroom Policies

Minor children, regardless of whether they are accompanied by an adult or student, are not permitted in Viterbo University computer labs or other computing facilities at any time. Lab monitors or university personnel will inform any minor child, or any student or parent accompanying the child that the child is to leave the lab immediately. If the child does not leave immediately, lab monitors or university personnel will contact university security and security will escort the child from the computer lab or computer classroom.

Disruptive behavior, including loud talking or laughing, in computer labs or other computing facilities is disrespectful toward other lab patrons and creates a setting which is not conducive for learning, studying, or computer use. As such, lab monitors or university personnel will warn any disruptive patron that his/her behavior is creating a problem, and that behavior must stop. If the behavior continues, the lab monitor or university personnel will inform the patron that he/she must leave the lab immediately. If the patron does not leave immediately, lab monitors or university personnel will contact security and security will escort the patron from the lab.
