A study of the child146s development in art from infancy to kindergarten. Focus on appreciation of the value and function of art. Assessment of children146s development in production of art. Students will learn to create a developmentally appropriate curriculum in art for children ages 0-kindergarten. Field Experience required. Prerequisite: junior standing.

As part of their academic program, Viterbo University students may choose to participate in a full-time or part-time business-related internship. The goal is to provide students the opportunity to blend academic theory with practice and to explore and gain experience in functional areas they may wish to enter professionally. An internship plan including a timeline, intended outcomes, and assessment requirements must be approved by the student's graduate advisor and arranged with the professor advising the internship. Study of fraud prevention, detection, and investigation. Topics include the fraud triangle, procedures that can be implemented to prevent fraud, types of fraud committed against the organization, types of fraud committed on behalf of the organization, techniques for determining the presence of fraud, and methods for investigating fraud.
