Welcome to the 2019–20 academic year! 

It is truly a joy to welcome students back to campus and feel the energy and enthusiasm this transition brings. If you haven’t had the opportunity, I hope you visit our newly renovated spaces in the Reinhart Center and the Fine Arts Center in the near future. The new Skogen Family Welcome Center will serve as a “one-stop” service point for prospective students and families visiting campus.  I am grateful to the many benefactors that made these projects possible.

We are currently finalizing a new strategic plan. We have held feedback sessions for the employees, and I look forward to the opportunity to discuss the draft with students, alumni, and members of the board of advisors prior to the board of trustees approval in October. I am grateful for the hundreds of ideas that have been generated. There has been strong community engagement in this process to date.
