Learning and Cognition
This course provides an in-depth exploration of human learning and cognition, focusing on such topics as: perceptions, attention, memory, knowledge representation, language, decision making, problem solving, and intelligence. Students will learn about classic and contemporary questions in these areas and how researchers use scientific methods to study these questions. Students will also conduct and participate in research experiments to practice and demonstrate learned concepts. Prerequisite: 171. Restricted to students with junior standing or higher.
