Weekends at VU offers free programming for Viterbo students on Fridays and Saturdays during the academic year. Programing can include activities such as: Grocery BINGO, crafts, off-campus excursions, and much more! Have an idea for a fun event we should try hosting? Let us know! High Rollers Night

Friday, Sept. 18 | 5:30–8:30 p.m. | High Rollers Skating Center

Lace up your skates and roll into a night of fun with WAVU! Join us on Friday, Sept. 18, for an evening at High Rollers featuring skating, music, games, and plenty of opportunities to hang out with friends. Whether you're showing off your best moves or just enjoying the vibes, this is the perfect way to kick off your weekend!

Registration is required. All participants must ride the Viterbo bus, which will depart from the Clock Tower at 5:15 p.m. Please arrive a few minutes early to check in before departure. Your reservation includes transportation and admission to High Rollers. Register your spot ASAP to reserve your spot, as space is limited!

Build Your Own Snackle Box + A Surprise Showing

Saturday, Sept. 19 | 6:00–8:00 p.m. | RCE Welcome Center 134

Snack, chill, and settle in for a night of fun with WAVU! Join us on Saturday, Sept. 19, to build your own personalized snackle box packed with all your favorite treats, then grab a seat for a surprise showing! Whether you're hanging out with friends, meeting new people, or looking for a cozy weekend activity, this is the perfect way to relax, snack, and enjoy a fun night on campus. make sure to get there early, as we only have so many snackle boxes to go around!

Grill, Chill & S’more: Campus Ministry Cookout

Friday, Sept. 25 | 6:00–8:00 p.m. | Campus Ministry

Celebrate Oktoberfest Weekend right here on campus with WAVU and Campus Ministry! Stop by for a relaxed evening featuring brats, soft pretzels, s’mores, and other Oktoberfest-inspired favorites. We’ll also be making festive flower crowns, so come create something fun, grab some food, and enjoy a laid-back night with friends!

WAVU Grab & Glow: Self Care Bags

Saturday, Sept. 26 | 5:00–7:00 p.m. | Marian Vestibule

Take a little time for yourself with WAVU Grab & Glow! Stop by the Marian Vestibule to pick up a self-care bag filled with goodies designed to help you relax, recharge, and brighten up your day. Whether you need a little pick-me-up or just want to treat yourself, swing by, grab a bag, and enjoy a little self-care on us! Supplies are limited, so be sure to stop by while they last.

BINGO After Dark

Friday, Oct. 2 | 7:00–8:30 p.m. | Student Union

Bingo is back for a night of fun with WAVU! Join us for Bingo After Dark, a nighttime bingo event featuring a variety of awesome prizes, plenty of friendly competition, and a few surprises along the way. Grab your friends, bring your lucky streak, and settle in for a Friday night of bingo, laughs, and prizes!

Pla Mor Lanes Bowling: Family Day 2026

Saturday, Oct. 3 | 6:00–10:00 p.m. | Pla-Mor Lanes

Keep Family Day going with a night of bowling in downtown La Crosse! Join CREW at Pla-Mor Lanes for an evening of bowling, good food, and some down time to just hang out with family and friends. The fun kicks off at 6:00 p.m., so grab a slice of pizza, lace up those bowling shoes, and get ready to hit the lanes. Starting at 8:00 p.m., the lights go down and the neon bowling begins! Come enjoy a night of bowling under the glow and make the most of Family Day 2026!

LEGO Jungle Critters

Friday, Oct. 9 | 5:00–7:00 p.m. | Student Union

Unleash your creativity with WAVU and a whole jungle full of LEGO fun! Come build your own collection of wild LEGO critters, from fierce predators to adorable creatures. Whether you're a serious LEGO builder or just looking for something fun to do with friends, come hang out, build, and bring your jungle creations to life! While supplies last!

Kiss Me, Kate

Saturday, Oct. 10 | Viterbo Conservatory for the Performing Arts

No WAVU event tonight, but there’s still something great happening on campus! Head over to the Conservatory for a performance of Kiss Me, Kate, a lively musical filled with comedy, romance, and classic Broadway favorites. Take a break from the usual weekend routine and support Viterbo’s talented student performers!

Sip and Paint with Emily

Friday, Oct. 16 | 6:00–8:00 p.m. | RCE Welcome Center 134

Get creative and unwind with WAVU at Sip and Paint with Emily! Join us for a fun, relaxed evening of painting, conversation, and good vibes. No artistic experience is needed — Emily walks you through, step by step how to bring your painting to life! Just bring yourself and get ready to create something you’ll be proud to take home!
