Registered nurses with a two-year degree from any of Wisconsin’s 16 technical colleges can fully apply those earned credits toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Viterbo through a new agreement between the university and the Wisconsin Technical College System.
The 2017-18 Viterbo University One-of-a-Kind Chamber Music Series continues Sunday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. in the Nola Starling Recital Hall with Open Borders.
Viterbo University theatre students will present the comedy How the Other Half Loves at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10–Saturday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 17–Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts.

10 a.m. Congratulations to the women’s volleyball team on the NSAA Tournament Championship on Saturday. The V-Hawks have earned a automatic bid to the NAIA National Championships. Maria Norberg, owner of downtown La Crosse businesses Ground Specialty Coffee and Apothik Food Truck, will speak as part of the Viterbo Leadership at Noon series Tuesday, Nov. 14 in the Reinhart Center Board Room.


Viterbo junior dietetics students will offer free health screenings Thursday, Nov. 16 from 8:30–10 a.m. in the School of Nursing Building room 298. Screenings offered include: blood pressure, blood glucose, hand grip strength, body composition assessment, mid-arm muscle, heel bone density and hemoglobin. Everyone is welcome to stop by and have any or all of the assessments.


The Viterbo Advancement Office is helping the Salvation Army this year with their Angel Giving Tree Christmas project. The Christmas tree located in Murphy Center Lobby will have tags for children ages 0–14. Participants are asked to gift an outfit and pair of shoes for the children receiving the gifts. All sizes will be identified on each tag for each child. Angel Giving Tree tags should be available before the Thanksgiving break. More details to follow.


Students interested in learning more about opportunities to study abroad with API, a study abroad program provider, should stop by the informational table on Tuesday, Nov. 14 in the Student Union Lobby from 10:30 a.m.–1 p.m. to ask Jason Kouba, API’s regional representative, questions about where and when you can go abroad, what you can study, if an international internship may be right for you, and financial resources that are available.
