Seventy-eight undergraduate students and 36 master’s degree students will be candidates for graduation at Viterbo University’s winter commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Celebrate the holiday season with A Viterbo Christmas: And a Little Child Shall Lead Them at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
The works of Viterbo senior creative media design students Jake Adams, Mannie De La Rosa, and Amanda Meyer will be featured in an exhibit opening with a reception from 4–6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29 in the Viterbo University Todd Wehr Memorial Library Gallery in Murphy Center.

Franciscan CORE is looking for student mentors to lead high school students during a Franciscan five-day summer camp program from June 10-15, 2018 on Viterbo’s campus. Room, board, training, and a stipend will be provided for qualified students. Franciscan CORE focuses on experiences that teach students how to live Franciscan values through service and reflection. One more traditional Service Saturday has been added to the calendar for Saturday, Dec. 2. Everything will start at 8:30 a.m. in the Reinhart Center Boardroom with a welcome and kickoff.  Service in the community will happen from 9 a.m.–noon before meeting back for a shared meal together in the Reinhart Center. Service options include Salvation Army initiatives (Christmas Boutique, Bell Ringing, Kitchen Prep, and Thrift Store) and the Viterbo Alumni Children’s Christmas party. Salvation Army Angel Giving Tree tags are now available on the Christmas tree in the Murphy Center Lobby. Tags are for La Crosse area children ages 0–14. If you participate by selecting tags from the tree you are asked to purchase an outfit and pair of shoes for each child. Gifts should be wrapped and brought back to the Christmas tree by Dec. 5, the advancement staff will take the gifts to the Salvation Army – be sure to attach the tag to your gift when you drop it off.
