Direct Admission

In contrast to many other universities, Viterbo students are admitted directly into the Dahl School of Business when they declare a business major, which can be done at any time —even as an incoming freshman. Some other business schools make the decision, based on GPA, after the sophomore year regarding admittance to the business school. This makes planning your college experience much more difficult.

Declaring one's major early allows for the appointment of an academic advisor and allows for better planning of the student's academic schedule to include internships, a field practicum, and minors. It also makes transferring from other institutions or majors seamless. It is much easier to plan your four year's worth of courses, internships, and other activities when you start early with a plan and a vision—the Dahl School of Business can make it all happen.
