Supports and guides students in the development of concepts and thought threads relevant toward their dissertation proposal. Research mentors support students in exploration of ideas and narrowing the focus of inquiry to the achievable. Students will complete IRB training and a data collection plan. When applicable students will initiate an IRB application. Prerequisite: 714. Graded CR/NC.
