Viterbo has a tradition of conducting a welcoming ceremony for incoming students. Last spring, the university started a new tradition, a Sending and Blessing Ceremony that with the welcoming ceremony will bookend the Viterbo experience for students. The December Sending and Blessing Ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, the morning of commencement in the Fine Arts Center FSPA lobby. Undergraduate candidates for graduation are invited to take part, as are family members of those graduating.
