Shannon McManimon Reflects on Transformational Education

For Shannon McManimon, program director of Viterbo’s Ethical Leadership Doctorate in Education program, the concepts of transformation and education are inextricably linked. Part of McManimon’s vision for the EdD in ethical leadership program recognizes that there are challenges in the world and that leadership is important to help move through those challenges. She said her hope is that the program would help to teach students how to work toward the common good and how to be more fully human.

Meet the 2024–25 Reinhart Institute Fellows

The D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership first began its student fellowship program in fall 2021. The program has five to six fellows each year, both undergraduate and graduate students. The fellows have a variety of roles that include planning programs, introducing speakers, serving as greeters, and maintaining and updating the social media accounts and Ethics Institute website.
