Leading Change: Applying Evidence to Practice

This course focuses on developing the student's ability to be inquisitive scholars, engaged citizens, and ethical leaders through the synthesis, integration, and evaluation of evidence to determine best practice that informs holistic nursing care. Students engage in meaningful and creative inquiry, critique health-related research, and explore the ethical principles involved in conducting research. Students examine team dynamics and change theories in order to analyze quality improvement initiatives at the individual and community levels. Prerequisites: 231, 232, 242, 349, MATH-130 or 230, WCII course.
