This clinical course advances the student's nursing skills and provides experiences and opportunities to engage in actions that promote holistic person-centered care in a variety of healthcare settings utilizing clinical judgment skills. Emphasis will be on interpreting baseline health information, correlating health conditions with individual preferences, analyzing assessment findings, and planning evidence-based interventions to achieve intended health outcomes. Students explore social determinants of health while utilizing the holistic nursing process to coordinate and plan for inclusion and equitable delivery of healthcare to diverse populations with examination of health care policy, health care delivery, and advocacy. Prerequisites: 201, 222, 242, BIOL 296, WCII course. Must take concurrent with NURS 336, 337L.
