VITERBO UNIVERSITY’S PLATINUM EDITION SHOW CHOIR TO PRESENT CELEBRATION 2012 APRIL 14

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University’s Platinum Edition show choir and special guests will present an evening of great singing and dancing with their annual variety performance Celebration 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Celebration 2012 will feature a wide variety of music including new and old pop, Broadway, rock and roll, hip hop, jazz, and a popular Americana set.

“The students in Platinum Edition are very talented and are full of energy,” said director of Platinum Edition and Viterbo music faculty member Nancy Allen. “The show will also feature a great back-up band.”

Several of the numbers in the show will be featured at the National FAME event in Chicago in April.

Guest performers will include the Apple Annies, Coulee Kids Choir, New York jazz pianist Dave Marck, and the Viterbo dance team.

“I really like the show and I think the audience will, too,” Allen said. “It has high energy music and beautiful ballads as well.”

Tickets are $17 for main floor, $14 for lower balcony, and $12 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/fac.
