International Student Admission

What can I study?

Viterbo offers over 70 undergraduate programs of study and 5 areas of graduate study.

What are the requirements?

International undergraduate freshmen — GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale plus demonstrated English proficiency.
International undergraduate transfers/second bachelor's —  GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale plus demonstrated English proficiency.
International graduates —  Graduate departments make admission decisions for their respective programs, but applicants must demonstrate English proficiency.

All prospective students must supply transcripts and passport information. Learn more about the application requirements.

Are there English language requirements?

You will need to take the TOEFL or IELTS test to assess your proficiency in English. You may also demonstrate English proficiency by successful completion of Level 112 from an ELS Language Center (www.els.edu). Based upon your score, you may be required to take additional English language classes. Learn more about English language policies.

What does it cost?

We reward academic achievement with scholarships to freshman and transfer undergraduate students. The cost of attending Viterbo can be offset by these scholarships.

How do I apply?

You can apply online. We recommend applying as early as possible and allowing extra time to secure immigration documents.
