Franciscan CORE youth theology institute is a five-day summer service opportunity offering education, experience, and reflection on Catholic Social Teaching themes and principles using a Franciscan lens. Each day will include prayer, intentional learning, interaction with leaders in the field, direct service, and time to process experiences.

We believe it is important for young people to experience service and social justice issues personally in order to understand and be empathetic to those for whom these difficulties are their reality.
Awareness is the beginning, experience deepens that response.
A program for rising 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students which offers education, reflection, and experience on Catholic Social Teaching themes and principles using St. Francis of Assisi as a model for action.
Each day will include;
- Prayer,
- Intentional learning,
- Interaction with leaders in the field,
- Direct service, and
- Time to process experiences.
