Campus Sustainability Day

October 24, 2012 1st Annual Campus Sustainability Day.

Viterbo University celebrated Campus Sustainability Day along with hundreds of campuses across the nation! The Sustainablity Walking Tour brochure was created indicating sustainable progress on campus. The Environmental Responsibility Committee decided to make Campus sustainability Day an annual event at Viterbo University.

The schedule of Campus Suistainability Day 2012 events are listed below.

9:05-10:00am Sustainability 101 Brophy 122

Presentation to learn what sustainability is and what you can do to become more sustainabile!

12:00-1:00pm Sustainability Brown Bag Lunch Reinhart Center Board Room

A panel of Viterbo staff will shared what is being done on campus related to sustainability, followed by an engaging discussion.


3:00-4:00pm Celebration of St. Francis Pledge & Walking Tour Dancing St. Francis Statue

President Artman and the Viterbo community commemorated the signage of the St. Francis Pledge to Care for Creation and the Poor. Following the commemoration, a formal walking tour of sustainability initatives on campus ensued.

7:00-8:30pm Film: PLANEAT Brophy 122
