This course studies the complex relationship between Mexico and the U.S. through the experience of Mexican people living in the U.S. Students will learn about selected historical, social, cultural, political and economic events that shape the life of today's Mexicans as well as current policy and political decisions that are impacting Mexicans in the U.S. Prerequisite: any 100-level VUSM course or transfer student placement.
