All Reading Teacher 1316 candidates will complete an electronic portfolio. The portfolio is a longitudinal account of the educator's learning and growth over time. Contributions to the portfolio will take place throughout the duration of the program and will prove to be a valuable tool for interviewing purposes, self-reflection, and demonstration of skills. The portfolio must earn a passing score within six months of the final course in the program.
The purpose of the portfolio is to:
- demonstrate professional growth, understanding, and application of course content
- demonstrate the impact of newly acquired knowledge, skills, and dispositions on PK-12 student learning
- demonstrate competency in the Wisconsin State Teacher Standards and the INTASC Teaching Standards as related to literacy.
Successful completion of an assessment portfolio is a requirement of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and Viterbo University.
Graduate Tuition: $365 per credit (plus $10 per credit resource fee) for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Register for Courses: Returning students will register via Viterbo's online course registration system, VitNet. New students will be registered by Viterbo staff. Contact Andrea Pelloquin with questions. Courses with less than a minimum of 10 students registered are at risk of cancellation.
