George Meyer is the executive director of the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation. The event is part of the La Crosse area observance of the annual Wisconsin Aldo Leopold weekend. Leopold, the author of The Sand County Almanac, is considered by many as the father of wildlife management and of the United States' wilderness system. Parking is available in the Fine Arts Center parking lot.

During a 36-year career with Alcoa, Bill O’Rourke served various roles within the organization including President of Alcoa-Russia. He also served as the Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety and Sustainability three times under three different CEOs. Bill retired from Alcoa in 2011.  Currently, Bill is an Ethics Fellow of the Wheatley Institution at Brigham Young University and serves on the John Carroll University Board of Directors in Cleveland.  Bill recently published The Power of Ethics with co-author Pete Geissler. During his presentation, Leading with Integrity, Bill will share stories and lessons from his experiences, emphasizing:

  • How to maintain integrity under pressure
  • The importance of ethics as the key to effective leadership
  • How to create and maintain an ethical culture in an organization
