School
of Graduate, Professional, and Adult Education
The mission of the School of Graduate,
Professional, and Adult Education is to provide the adult learner with a
values-based, quality education that enhances her or his credentials and
ability to contribute to societal good.
This is done by offering graduate programs in
the areas of nursing, education, business and servant leadership. The School of
Graduate, Professional, and Adult Education also offers several undergraduate
degree completion program options for non-traditional students to receive a
baccalaureate degree in nursing, business administration, and letters and
sciences. Courses are online or in a flexible face-to-face format. In
conjunction with Western Technical College, Viterbo University’s School of
Graduate, Professional, and Adult Education offers an associate of arts and an associate
of science degree.

Professional, and Adult Education:
The vision of the School of Graduate, Professional, and Adult Education
is to serve as a regional center for adult learners by providing the quality
educational opportunities necessary for personal growth and development for
career preparation and enhancement through the pursuit of an associate,
baccalaureate, and master’s degree, as well as professional development,
certificate, and licensure opportunities.
Admission to Undergraduate Degree
Completion Programs
Students applying to the associate degree
program or the adult undergraduate degree completion programs of accounting,
addiction studies, health care management, health care science, integrated
studies, management information systems, organizational management, and nursing
should complete the School of
Graduate, Professional, and Adult Education application form. Prospective
students may apply online at www.viterbo.edu.
Click on “Adult Learning,” then look for “Apply Online.”
Students
must meet Viterbo University admission standards. See the admission section of
this catalog.
Applicants
must request that official high school, university and/or military training
transcripts, including any ACE, DANTES, CLEP or AP scores, be sent directly to
the School of Graduate, Professional, and Adult Education (900 Viterbo Drive,
La Crosse, WI, 54601). Hand carried transcripts are not accepted. Applicants to
bachelor’s degree completion programs are not required to submit high school
transcripts if they have earned an associate or bachelor’s degree from another
regionally accredited institution at the time of application to Viterbo
University. (Applicants who have not earned an associate or bachelor’s degree
from another regionally accredited institution at the time of application must
request an official copy of their high school transcript be sent directly to
the School of Graduate, Professional, and Adult Education.)
International

Policy
Students completing a bachelor degree offered through the School of
Graduate, Professional, and Adult Education may not concurrently double major
or double degree in a major offered in another school.
