netherland sunrise
ripples of white
expanding;
a ceaseless sea of entrancing bliss.
pastels; soft as an infant's sigh:
coral, peach peel,
and baby's eye blue.
pale mountains emerge;
ungraspable by mortal hands,
but caressed in a dreamer's wonders and ponders.
hues dissolve in the morning sphere's light,
the swan-feathered peaks recede and disappear;
dawn's delicate dance is done.
