dreams in a darker world (mind)
By Arthur Karbowski
mine? maybe.
sleeping flashbacks? maybe.
downtown is carpeted with pine needles that a
conglomerated sibling and i alchemize: mexican
gold.
let us not forget:
a grey moonish valley lies before me littered with
boulders. i must cut them to sand with dental
floss to reach an unreasonable salvation.
i awake refreshingly burning: my all time
fever dream.
i dream of teeners:
actually feeling the line burn down.
the acid kicks in as my dead friend and I wander
through a mazing complex built from parts of
the past.
dream on a desperately lonely promontory?
in the Blue Sky,
in the beginning,
told to speak the nonexistent words of mankind.
