Program Requirements
1. The following courses are required:
EDUC 541 Psychology of the Gifted (3 cr)
EDUC 543 Identification and Programming for the Gifted (3 cr)
EDUC 540 Educational Strategies for Gifted (3 cr)
EDUC 544 Administration and Supervision of Gifted Programs (2 cr)
EDUC 545 Gifted Education Internship (1 cr)
2. Upon completion of the program the student is required to fill out a Special Recognition Award application. Please fill out the form and send it to the Iowa Office. This form is needed for transcripts to reflect a new endorsement.
