Strides Winter 98
Viterbo College's Alumni Magazine
FEATURES
• Enrollment:"Build it and they will come." That line from the movie
"Field of Dreams" sums up what has been happening at Viterbo College,
especially the last nine years.
• Assisi Italy: For the past four years, the FSPA's have sponsored pilgrimages
to Assisi, Italy, the homeland of St. Francis. Over 75 individuals have participated
so far and the last group returned home just days before a devastating earthquake
hit this ancient and sacred land.
• Walter Family: Family time took on a whole new meaning for one Onalaska
family when they all decided to enroll in classes at Viterbo.
• Jerry Schultz: Jerry Schultz was just 12 credits shy of earning a degree in
education when he lost a long battle with leukemia. Through a scholarship in his
name, his dream lives on.
