Scott Baeseman '91 and D.R. Smith celebrated the adoption of a daughter, Stella Luvene, April 2003. Stella was born Aug. 30, 2001.

Richelle (Sommer) Fields '93 received a Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Nurse Practitioner, May 8, 2003. She was also inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, a national Jesuit honor society for nursing, and Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society for nursing.

Kerri (Wenzel) Haselhorst '93 is employed by Texas Oncology, Dallas as a registered nurse.

Shelly (Danczyk) '96 and Dan Heerts '94 celebrated the birth of a son, Aaron Luke, March 28, 2003. He joins his brothers, Caleb, Seth, and Joshua.

Dawn (Lipkie) Bojarski '94 received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Carroll College, May 11, 2003.

Susan and Daniel Pierce '94 celebrated the birth of a son, Brandon Joseph, Jan. 15, 2002.

Pam Roark '94 received her Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute April 21, 2003.

Linda Surdick '94 married Neal Zinda, Jan. 22, 2002 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. They celebrated the birth of a son, Anthony Robert, Dec. 24, 2003.

Melissa Hellwig-Cottrell '95 and Bryan Cottrell celebrated the birth of a son, Gibson Carl Henry, Feb. 16, 2003.

Sarah Peterson '95 has recently been accepted to the University of Minnesota graduate program. She currently is a public health nurse with La Crosse County Health Department.

Laura Weissman married Dan Hale '96 Aug. 24, 2002. Dan graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison in 2000 and is now completing his pediatrics residency training at Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland, Maine. He is now a licensed pediatrician and will be the chief resident at BBCH for one year. Laura is also a pediatrics resident.

Alexis Ludewig '96 has been selected to serve on the Teacher Advisory Council for NCREL (North Central Region Educational Laboratory).

Melanie (Nickel) '96 and Paul Church celebrated the birth of a son, Carson Henry, Nov. 27, 2002. He joins his brother, Cody, 2. 

Rick Weeth '96 is employed by the La Crosse County Historical Society as the assistant registrar and Webmaster. He also installs ceramic tile in newly built homes in the La Crosse area and works in the music industry occasionally.

Robert Griepentrog '97 is a full-time staff member of Campus Crusade for Christ's music ministry, Keynote. Rob currently performs/ministers in Keynote's country/rock band, Laredo. The group has ministered at the Daytona 500 auto race, numerous military bases, churches, and college campuses across the U.S. Visit

Jeff Iftekaruddin '97 started his own record company, 424 Records, in 2000, in New York City. He will soon release his album, Evolution, in both Spanish and English, making Jeff the first reverse-crossover artist. He is currently performing a solo show throughout New York and is planning a world tour after the release of his album.

Todd Prescott '97 participated in the recent Regional Tour of the Window Fashions Certification Program May 5?6 in San Diego. Todd joined other interior designers, workroom personnel, installers, and retailers in an intensive, two-day educational program designed to achieve industry certification. 

Ruth Soulsby-Monroy '97 received a dual master's degree as a certified nurse midwife and family nurse practitioner from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, April 25, 2002. She finished her integration as a midwifery student at Holy Family Birth Services in Weslaco, Texas. She is the first student there to have both delivered her own baby and served a student integration at the site.

Deborah (Erickson) Clements '98 received a promotion to MRLA service coordination supervisor at Texas Panhandle Mental Health Mental Retardation in Amarillo, Texas.

Courtney Finch '98 is currently a graduate student at St. Louis University, studying botany.

Angela Finnes '98 has been a freelance and staff costumer in both theatre and film as well as film production work. Some of the theatres she has worked for include the Alley Theatre, Houston Grand Opera, Utah Shakespearean Festival, American Players Theatre, Goodman Theatre, and the Santa Fe Opera, in addition to doing work for feature and independent films.

Gabe Hicks '98 was recently employed as a members financial services representative at Trane Federal Credit Union, La Crosse. He also serves as music director at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Wade Koski '98 recently received his master's degree from UW-Milwaukee and is currently practicing as a psychotherapist in Milwaukee.

Jennifer (Londo) '98 and Clarence Wolf celebrated the birth of a son, Cobi Allen, May 29, 2002.

Jaime (Pethan) '98 and Sandor Anday celebrated the birth of a son, Sheldon Thomas, Feb. 26, 2003. He joins his brother, Sandor, 1.

Kelly (Benson) '99 and Devin Hakala celebrated the birth of a son, Christian, Aug. 6, 2003.

Gram Cotton '99 has been accepted into the Mayo Health-Related Sciences Nurse Anesthesia Program in Rochester, Minn. He began in September 2003. 

Maureen Crompton '99 married Paul Caravella Dec. 27, 2003.

Karla (Hammes) '99, '01 married Shane Lawrence June 16, 2001.

Adam Neuman '99 was employed by the Samuels Recycling Company December 2002 as an account executive. In February 2003, he gained the additional title of quality manager in charge of the ISO 9000 certification for the company and, in January 2003, was promoted to SGT(E-5) 753rd Quarter.

Erin Urbanek '99 was recently employed as a child protection social worker for Trempealau County in Wisconsin.
