Sharing Their Skills 

What does it take to be a leader? Six Viterbo nursing alumni shared their experience and thoughts on the subject during a Nursing Leadership Panel presentation to current nursing students. Presenters were Kay Zibrowski ’85, ICU staff nurse leader, Franciscan Skemp Healthcare; Jim Schlichenmeyer ’88, occupational health and ergonomics specialist, Midwest Environmental Management Company; Julie Bartels ’77 administrator of family practice, occupational health, and employee health, Franciscan Skemp Healthcare; Nancy Johnson ’76, director of nursing, Onalaska Care Center; Mary Lu Gerke ’74, administrative director for perioperative areas and intensive care, Gundersen Lutheran; and Lu Ann Fowler ’94, community outreach coordinator, Tomah Memorial Hospital.
