President’s Society Recognition Dinner
Members of the President’s Society attended an annual recognition dinner at the Radisson Hotel Ballroom in La Crosse in April. This event celebrated members of the society and featured opportunities for education, socializing, and meeting the university’s faculty and students. The event was sponsored by Stansfield Vending. With the assistance of co-chairs Gerald and Betty Baldner, Kent and Karen Handel, Todd and Deb Ondell, and Shawn and Mary Jo Werner, Viterbo realized an increase of 61 new President’s Society members this year. This greatly surpasses the initial goal of 21 new members, and demonstrates the growing popularity of this group. The President’s Society recognizes benefactors who contribute $1,000 or more annually to Viterbo. Members are invited to an annual dinner, receive a monthly letter from the university president, are acknowledged in the university annual report, and receive an invitation to the President’s Festival of Lights and Carols held each December.
