Christina and Martin Welles ’91 celebrated the birth of a son, Robert William, May 16, 2007. He joins twins Marty and Laura, born May 4, 2006. For those keeping score, that’s 600 diapers a month. Martin received a Master of Laws degree with highest honors in litigation and alternative doctoral residency from George Washington Law School and is currently enrolled at Georgetown Law Center for a second master’s degree in taxation with a focus on employee benefits. He is a labor and employment attorney with the United States Postal Service.
Laura (Rice) Damrow ’92 accepted a position through Franciscan Skemp Healthcare as a certified nurse midwife on the Sparta campus in Sparta.
Sara (Aschom) ’92 and Thomas Heiss celebrated the birth of a son, Isaac Cooper, June 22, 2007. He joins siblings, Miles, 5, and Grace, 4. In December 2006 Sara was awarded “Teacher of the Year” by the Wisconsin Parent Teacher’s Association. Sara received her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from UW-Whitewater and is pursuing a second master’s degree in educational leadership through Cardinal Stritch University.

Kaydee (Kempfert) ’92 and Joe Ruppert were married Sept. 16, 2006, in Waupaca. Kaydee is the director of business services for ACES Xavier Educational System, Inc.
Teresa (Freiberg) ’93 and William Conroy celebrated the birth of a daughter, Sophia Teresa, Dec. 11, 2006. She joins brothers, Zachary and Stephen. Teresa is pursuing a master’s degree in science for clinical nurse specialist with an education focus at Grand Canyon University.
Vikki Seefeldt-Harraden ’93 is living in England and working with Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) overseas as a wellness coordinator. She is also attending graduate school.

Kristin Nelson ’95 was selected as an analyst for a national study through The Education Trust in Washington, DC. There were eight analysts selected from the United States. The study involved effective teaching practices of middle school math teachers.

Betsy Fowler ’97 and her sister, Kathy (Fowler) Mydy ’84, traveled to Australia in January for a month to visit Kathy’s grandchildren, Lisaat and Jacob. Betsy has been a volunteer for the Salvation Army’s food pantry for the past six years.
