Director’s Note
Greetings Alumni,
In October, we asked you to fill out a survey about Strides in order to learn more about your interests and opinions of the magazine. We were extremely pleased that over 800 of you responded to our request—not a bad response rate!
Since then, we have been sifting through your responses, tallying data, and compiling comments. I am pleased to share some of the results with you:
When asked if you feel that Strides projects a positive image of Viterbo, 96 percent of respondents selected “agree” or “strongly agree.”
Sixty-four percent indicated that they read Strides cover to cover.
Seventy-six percent gave Strides an overall assessment of “very good” or “excellent.”
Eighty-seven percent “agree” or “strongly agree” that Strides makes alumni proud of their alma mater.
When it came to content of the magazine, the most-read sections are, not surprisingly, “Alumni Now” and “Class Notes.” Respondents also indicated that they were most interested in reading campus news and feature stories.
On behalf of the Strides editorial staff, we thank you for taking the time to respond, and we are encouraged by the positive results. We are always looking for story ideas and interesting features about Viterbo alumni. If you have an idea for a story that you’d like to share, please send it to me at alumni@viterbo.edu. I’d love to hear from you!
All the best,
Jen Roberdeau ’04
Director of Alumni Relations
P.S. Congratulations to Carrie (Emond) Jacobson ’97, survey respondent and winner of the Viterbo blanket!
