Fall Sports Review

The V-Hawk volleyball team concluded their season finishing 29–13 overall and 6–2 in MCC play. They competed for the Midwest Collegiate Conference title until the final regular season game. The V-Hawks say goodbye to two seniors, Alicia Hynek and Nicole Valencia, who are two of only 16 players in Viterbo history to play four years of volleyball. |

Women’s soccer finished 9–7–1, posting their sixth straight winning season. The V-Hawks made a run at their third straight MCC title before falling 3–0 to St. Ambrose University in their final game. Seniors Amber Hoppe, Megan Husby, Kailey Husby, and Lisa Jaroczynski finished their V-Hawk careers with two MCC titles and an impressive 22–6–1 conference record. |

Men’s soccer finished 4–12 overall. However, eight of the 12 losses were by just one goal. Their one conference win came against William Penn University, 3–0. Seymour Essor, Ryan Fohrman, Joe Ganser, Pat Graham, Rob Iliff, and Chase Vaughn wrapped up their V-Hawk careers this past fall. |

Men’s golf had a strong showing in their debut season as the team finished in the top half of all of their tournaments. The season highlights included a third place finish at the Ronnie Eastman Invitational at the La Crosse Country Club. Sophomore Ren Jungck also had the top individual finish of the season, winning the Ronnie Eastman Invitational. |

Women’s golf got off to a slow start, but team play improved by the end of the fall season. Their top finish came at the Iowa Wesleyan Invitational where they finished sixth out of nine teams. As a team, the V-Hawks finished sixth at both the MCC and NAIA Region VII tournament.
