Nursing Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Viterbo alumni returned to their alma mater in October for the School of Nursing 40th Anniversary Celebration. The event was part of the university’s annual alumni weekend.

The event featured a brunch and program; a Viterbo History through the Decades DVD presentation; student, alumni, and faculty speakers; tours; and a glimpse into the future of nursing.

“It was also a great opportunity for guests to connect with old friends, classmates, and current students,” said Silvana Richardson, dean of the School of Nursing.

Over 3,000 nurses have graduated from Viterbo since 1971, and the program is one of the largest in the state of Wisconsin.
