International Flavor

Three distinguished writers in residence from the University of Iowa’s international writing program visited Viterbo in October.

Elena Bossi of Argentina, Khaled Khalifeh of Syria, and Peter Kimani of Kenya read from their works and then participated in a discussion about the values of internationalism, which included questions from the audience.

The event was sponsored by Viterbo’s departments of English, global education, and world languages, and the President’s International Initiatives Fund.
