Scholarship Recipients Thank Benefactors at Luncheon

One hundred-thirty students and benefactors gathered for the annual scholarship luncheon in the Fine Arts Center lobby in March. The event had its largest gathering ever this year, giving students an opportunity to meet, have lunch with, and personally thank the benefactors of their scholarships.

Scholarship benefactor and alumna Sandy Schwalbe ’63 shared an inspiring reflection about her challenges and successes at Viterbo, and her connection with the university years later.  Scholarship recipient ­Breana Blaha, the recipient of Mrs. Schwalbe’s scholarship, also spoke about her Viterbo experience and the success she achieved due to the support she received.
