Ten nursing students and two faculty members who traveled to Belize to study received a blessing from Fr. Tom O’Neill at a gathering in Brophy Nursing Center. Also blessed were student Anna Schlenker, who spent six weeks studying in Puerto Rico, and Ricardo Pico Rivera, a native of Puerto Rico who did his clinicals at Viterbo for six weeks. A student asking Fr. O’Neill to also put in a good word for students taking the upcoming state board exams drew appreciative laughter and smiles.
