Reinhart Center Room Dedication
“Dedicating this room to their memory is a big thing for the Meehan family. However, as we’re celebrating this dedication, I think it’s important that we remember this quote from Marian Wright Edelman, ‘We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.’ I’m sure Grandpa Lloyd and Grandma Ethel never imagined we’d all be here this morning naming a room at a university after them, but hopefully they can see how their love and life’s lessons educated all of us in ways that make us who we are today.” Michelle (Brendel) Peplinski ’96

Room 140 in the Reinhart Center was dedicated in memory of Lloyd and Ethel Meehan, the parents and grandparents of Viterbo Alumnae Elizabeth (Meehan) Brendel ’70, Mary Meehan-Strub ’76, and Michelle (Brendel) Peplinski ’96.
