Dialing for Dollars

Over $21,680 was pledged in this year’s Parent Phonathon, a significant increase from last year’s amount of $14,590. The Parent Phonathon is very important to the university because it provides money for equipment, supplies, and other needs that often aren’t covered by tuition.

This year, parents were given the opportunity to support their son or daughter’s department of study. The departments are able to use these funds at their discretion—whether it’s to buy new books or supplies, to upgrade classroom technology, to bring in professional speakers, or whatever the need may be.
