Saying Thank You at Scholarship Luncheon

One hundred twenty students and benefactors gathered for the annual scholarship luncheon in the Fine Arts Center lobby. The luncheon, which had its highest ever attendance this year, gives students an opportunity to meet, have lunch with, and personally thank the benefactors of their scholarships.

Allison Loomis, a junior religious studies major, gave the prayer at the event and Dorie Beres, a member of the nursing faculty, spoke about the importance of providing students with scholarships. Senior social work major Irene Sundboom spoke about the important impact that receiving a scholarship has made on her life.
