If a student
is admitted to the Social Work Program on conditions, written notification is
given to the student stipulating the conditions for admission. Conditions may
include completing prerequisite courses, tutoring, raising GPA, taking a
specific course, counseling, developing writing skills, or a variety of other
measures.
Students
admitted under conditions are reviewed by the social work faculty at the end of
each semester to determine whether they have fulfilled their conditions and
should be moved to good standing, or should continue on conditional status
under a revised plan.
No student on
conditional status will be admitted into Social Work Field Education without
special permission.
