Benefits of Membership

• Members receive a certificate, pin, and honor cord to wear at their graduation.
• Members may add this honor to their resumes and graduate school applications.
• Members are eligible to apply for scholarships and awards sponsored by the national organization.
• Members receive a one year subscription to the official journal of the national organization.

Membership Requirements

• Students must have declared sociology as their major or minor.
• Students must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.0 GPA in sociology courses.
• Students must be a junior by academic standing  and must have completed  four sociology courses.
• Transfer students must complete two semesters at Viterbo before applying.
