Dave Rogers, owner of Dave’s Guitar Shop in La Crosse, will speak as part of the Viterbo University Leadership at Noon Series Tuesday, Jan. 27 in Reinhart Center room 107. The Viterbo University Fine Arts Center has been selected to receive funding from Arts Midwest’s Touring Fund, a program of Arts Midwest, to support the performance of James Sewell Ballet’s Lover and Other Works Jan. 30. The Arts Midwest Touring Fund is generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional support provided by General Mills Foundation.
James Sewell Ballet performs innovative work that explores the technical boundaries of the art form. The company, which is based in the Twin Cities, will feature their poignant and poetically comic ballet Lover, featuring the music of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart with choreography set to My Funny Valentine, 10 Cents and Dance, and more.
