Scholarship Opportunities

General Engineering Scholarship
For our first engineering cohort, we are competitively awarding additional scholarships in the amount of $2,000 per year ($8,000 over four years) to 15 students starting their freshmen year in the fall of 2018.   In order to be considered for an engineering scholarship should indicate an interest in engineering when completing their application for general admission. 

The FIRST Robotics/Tech Challenge Scholarship
Any high school senior who participates in the 2018 FIRST Robotics/Tech Challenge competitions is eligible to win a one time $1,000 scholarship to Viterbo University.  To be considered for this scholarship students should be admitted to Viterbo and submit the Viterbo Scholarship Application starting in October. 

Health Science Scholarship Competition
The School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics is offering a four-year, full-tuition scholarship, currently valued at approximately $105,000, to a deserving student intending to pursue a career in a health science area. A total of $191,000 will be awarded among other finalists in the competition. All students chosen for the Health Science Competition (28 total) will receive a minimum of a $2,000 scholarship (over four years) in addition to their academic scholarship.

Xcel Energy Scholarship for Women in Science
This scholarship is to support highly able women to study science at Viterbo University. Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded. The award will be distributed to the recipients in four equal payments ($625 per year), one at the beginning of each of four years of attendance, provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA and a course of study in science or math.

Viterbo Merit Scholarships
Up to $14,000 per year based on ACT and high school GPA

Project Success
The National Science Foundation Project SUCCESS Scholars program provides a renewable scholarship up to $10,000 per year in addition to other awards for students pursuing a degree in biology or environmental biology and who enroll at Viterbo University.
