The Educational Leadership Program with School Business Administrator

In response to the importance of developing leadership for student learning and knowledgeable School Business Administrators, the university, under the leadership of Jim Bagniewski and Bernie Ferry, began in 2010 expanding an educational leadership program that includes this license. Collaborations with PK–12 systems, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, as well as reviewing research and best practices served as valuable resources in designing the program. In the summer of 2009, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction approved the university's application for this program. Having sought and obtained this approval, the first cohort will start in the summer of 2010 in La Crosse.

Viterbo presently has four cohort sites for its educational leadership program in:

  • La Crosse
  • Eau Claire
  • Green Bay
  • Middleton

The School Business Administrator program will start with a cohort in La Crosse only for 2010.
