Group Fitness Class Descriptions

3-for-1 Simply put, 3-for-1 Fusion speaks for itself in combining strength, cardio, and interval training into one, full body workout. You can expect a great variety in routines, never to be bored, or need to worry that your workout wasn’t enough!
Body Max

Body Max will allow your body to build strength using only your body weight. Without using fitness equipment, your body learns functionality through increased strength, flexibility, range of motion, and balance. Body weight exercises can be modified for any fitness level. For those who are uncomfortable with equipment, or those who just want some variety, this class will be great for you. 

Boot Camp

This is NOT your Mother's workout!! Military style workout that will kick your butt! Experience how to use your body as a machine, for the ultimate fitness experience...Be Prepared!

Butts n' Guts

Get ready to take your core workout to the next level with a Butts n' Guts class! In 30 minutes, this class will take ideas from many different sources that are sure to tone, sculpt and strengthen your core. It's time you had the opportunity to make your body look this good!

Cardio Circuit

Cardio Circuits is a great class to help improve your aerobic endurance and burn some calories! Similar to popular fitness trends - Insanity or P90x - Cardio Circuits will use 3 to 6 exercises within an exercise set at various time intervals. Through the semester you will progress to more challenge moves, longer intervals, and additional sets. Come join us at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays!


CSI stands for Cardio & Strength Interval.  This class includes heart-rate pumping cardio exercises dueled with various strength training movements that are used as an active recovery period. Be ready to sweat!

INSANITY© INSANITY© is a class designed using the high intensity interval training technique. Class begins with a warm up, followed by endurance and plyometrics, strength and balance, agility and coordination, and core sections. Bodyweight is the only resistance that is used in class. Get ready to Dig Deeper in this class!
Kettlebells Kettlebell training has been used for competition and sports throughout Russia and Europe since the 1940s.  In recent years, this type of exercise is very popular within the US! Kettlebells combines cardio, strength, and power based training principles to improve total body fitness and promote lean muscle mass. Come join us at 5:30 on Wednesday evenings to give this new class a try! All fitness levels are welcome!
Kick & Lift

A choreographed cardio routine using kickboxing techniques to kick and jab your way to a toned and lifted body. This class is sure to be heart pumping and will challenge both your aerobic and muscular fitness.

Late Night Fitness

Want to mix it up? Or, want to try something new? Offered Thursday nights, each week the class type and instructors will vary.  Classes can vary from Zumba, Boot Camp, Pilates, Yoga, and more! Check the Late Night Fitness Schedule for more info!

Late Night Slow Flow Yoga Had a hard day? This class is the ultimate relaxation. You’ll flow from one pose to another, but hold the poses for an extended period and find your own comfort zone within the pose.

Pilates is a system of muscular strength and flexibility conditioning. This class will challenge the spine in flexion, extension, and (especially) in the neutral position, adding arm and leg movements to help overload the core muscles as well as stimulate improvements.

PowerFlow PowerFlow, similar to a combination of Yoga and Pilates, is another new class we will be offering! This class incorporates the movements and practices of Yoga and Pilates in fluid motion. Pilates is the control of muscles. The exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine as well as strengthen the deep torso muscles. PowerFlow combines this with the mat work of Yoga to channel the power that flows during exercise.
POWER Yoga POWER Yoga will take yoga a step beyond the basics. Participants will follow a vinyasa flow while learning to incorporate breath with movement and sprinkling in some advanced poses such as presses, headstands, and shoulder stands.  All are welcome to join this POWER Yoga class.
Small Group Training Small Group Training is a bootcamp-inspired workout sure to hit major muscle groups from head to toe and combining all aspects of fitness including cardio, strength, core, and more! Classes will use bodyweight as well as various exercise equipment. Partner exercises may be utilized. Everyone in class can get a great workout!
Tone-N-Tighten (TNT)

Tone-N-Tighten develops every major muscle group in an efficiently paced, thirty-minute workout. This is a total body strengthening and toning class that uses a variety of resistance options.

Total Body Conditioning Total Body Conditioning is a workout from head to toe combining all aspects of fitness including cardio, strength, core, and more! Classes will use bodyweight as well as kettlebells, hand weights, exercise balls. Everyone in class can get a great workout!

Total Strength

Total strength is an hour long class that will give you a full-body workout. Each activity will help you build muscle endurance and strength. Classes will incorporate hand weights, exercise balls, bands and body weight. This is open to everyone– the beginner to the seasoned participant.

Rise and Shine Yoga Wake up your body and mind with Yoga! Integrates varied yoga styles to improve flexibility, strength and balance. Helps reduce stress and improve breathing.


In general, yoga is a spiritual practice or discipline that helps the individual unify his/her body, mind and heart. Yoga offers a unique combination of meditation and breathing. The techniques introduced in this class will clear the mind, build energy and endurance, and challenge participants.

Yoga Sculpt Focused on major muscle groups, including core, arms, upper thighs and posterior, help sculpt your body with Yoga Sculpt! Utilizing the routine movements of yoga with an addition of moderate free weight to intensify each pose. This class will conclude with a soothing, calming tone and deep stretches.
Yogalates Yogalates incorporates the movements and practices of Yoga and Pilates. Pilates is the control of muscles. Exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine as well as strengthen the deep torso muscles. Yogalates combines this with the mat work of Yoga.


Zumba® is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba® utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
