A Newsletter for the Viterbo College Community
From the admissions office…
We will be hosting two Financial Aid Workshops/Campus Preview Days from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fri., Jan. 22 and Sat. Feb. 6. In terms of the complete Admissions Year Cycle, these are some of the most significant dates on the calendar. Because these are often times when interest is piqued or an enrollment decision is solidified, we always try to put our “best feet” (both of them) forward.
While the majority of the activity is centered around the FAC, these potential students and their families will be in other areas of the campus as well. What we in admissions are asking is that if you encounter these people in your areas, merely extend to them the same friendly welcome that has become one of the most prominent hallmarks of Viterbo College. This is one of our strongest attributes and one on which we receive positive feedback throughout the year.
Thanks much! We in admissions appreciate this greatly.
—Joe Fisher
Assistant Director of Admissions

Re: Fleet Vehicles
The location where college owned fleet vehicles are parked has been changed. All college fleet vehicles (Grand Ams, Transport, Van I and III, Bonneville) are now parked in the newly graveled area just south of their previous location and behind 926 9th Sreet South.
Enter the new lot from the alley between the white and red garages. The lot is signed, patrolled and lighted. When returning vehicles, park facing north (towards the Physical Plant office) and align with the existing curbstops. Questions? Call x3921.

Check out Viterbo’s web page
Take a look at Viterbo’s newest pages on the web: Letters and Science, Education, Graduate Education and Graduate Nursing. The Public Relations office (PR) and the Computer Center (CC) have been working to make the web page easier to navigate.
For your department to have a presence on the web:
1. Make an appointment to meet with Loretta in the PR office, x3040.
2. Bring a PC disk that your web page information can be saved on.
3. Loretta will discuss your departmental needs with you, and assist you in filling out a job ticket. If necessary she will schedule a meeting for you with Deb Kappmeyer, web developer.
4. Deb will create the graphics for your page and get your initial information to the point that it is ready to be published.
5. At this point Deb will publish your initial page(s) and see that you receive a password that will allow you to publish any changes and updates to your web page.
6. Once your page is up, it is your responsibility to keep the information current. Jeff Nyseth, Instructional Design Specialis, conducts training sessions. For instruction in web page publishing, PR and CC staff are available to help answer your questions.
