Maus I, Maus II

For this journal entry, you may do any one of the following:

ü Write a 2-3 page reflection paper on any one of the events you attended during the symposium.

ü Write a 2-3 page reflection paper on the topic: “How is the Holocaust a part of American Literature?” You should concentrate your discussion on Maus I and Maus II.

ü Read John Hellman’s essay, “Post-modern Journalism” on reserve in the library. Discuss how the graphic novel is an example of post-modern journalism.

ü Comprise a bibliography of at least ten works (you may use the internet) that discuss graphic novels.
