There will be a reception for employees retiring or leaving the College of Nursing, Health, and Human Behavior on Wednesday, May 1 from 3–4 p.m. on the second floor lobby of the School of Nursing Building. Retiring or leaving are Jackie Kuennen, Barb Puryear, Marcia Hagen, Alida Herling, Susan Cieslicki, and Jayne Oliver.
All Viterbo community members are invited to attend: Celebrate the impending retirements of Renee Kastenschmidt and David Waters, business, with an ice cream social Wednesday, May 1 from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Brophy Center Student Commons area. A retirement reception for Linda Schams, biology, will be held Tuesday, May 7 from 3-5 p.m. in the Reinhart Center Board Room. A retirement reception for Vickie Schaefer, education, from 2:30–3:45 p.m. Thursday, May 9 in the Reinhart Center Board Room. Dessert will be served.

All employees are invited to participate in the 28th Annual Sister Doctor Dean Jean Golf Scramble Tuesday, May 14 at Valley High Golf Club in Hokah, Minn. The event begins with a shotgun start at 4:30 p.m. All skill levels welcome. Put together a foursome of friends, colleagues, or strangers and register with Jean Moore, FSPA, by email or 608-317-0719. Be prepared to give info of your area(s) of participation. Golf and electric cart is $20, golf only is $10. Dinner is $10 tax and tip included. Pay at the course on the day of the event. Dinner is chicken breast, potatoes, beans, pasta salad with garbanzo beans, and rolls. There will be hole prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt.
Administrative Assembly is sponsoring a Food for Finals booth for students. Finals are May 6–10. Employees are invited to donate individually bagged treats, prepackaged snacks, and nonrefrigerated items. Monetary donations will be accepted Monday, April 29–Friday, May 3; send in a sealed envelope via intra-campus mail to Mary Mormann, IIT, or bring to Murphy Center room 510. Food donations can be dropped off in the copy center, library, outside Murphy Center room 379, and the School of Nursing Building room 107.Freshly baked items may be dropped off in Murphy Center room 379 any time, up until 10 a.m., Monday, May 6.
