The Viterbo community is invited to participate in a Public Health Forum Monday, March 25 from 9:30–11:30 a.m. in the Fine Arts Center Lobby. Michael Fiore, UW professor of medicine, will address “Policy Change to Improve Health: Fifty Years of Progress and Remaining Challenges to Eliminate Tobacco Use in America.” This presentation will provide a summary of progress to date in reducing tobacco use in Wisconsin and America, as well as strategies that hold promise to achieve the end-game in tobacco control – a society entirely free of tobacco use. In addition, Wisconsin state legislators will be in attendance to address current issues in public health.
