VSNA is holding its second annual "Change a Christmas.” Donate your loose change to help people in the La Crosse community. Collection boxes are located in the Student Union, School of Nursing Building, Brophy Center, Murphy Center, Einstein's, and Reinhart Center.
Help celebrate kindness by buying a gift for a local family. Stop by the Social Work Club tree in the Fine Arts Center for more details about buying a gift or donating.
Administrative assembly is sponsoring a Food for Finals booth for students. Four locations will be available during finals week for students to grab a snack as they study for their exams. Viterbo employees are invited to donate individually bagged treats, pre-packaged snacks, and non-refrigerated items. Monetary donations can be sent in a sealed envelope via intra-campus mail to Mary Mormann (Murphy Center 510). Food donations can be dropped off at the Copy Center, the Library, outside Murphy Center 379, and the Nursing Center administrative suite. Donations will be accepted Dec. 4–8. Freshly baked items may be dropped off in Murphy Center 379 on Monday, Dec. 11 until 10 a.m.
There will be a Human Rights Day Prayer Service at Mary of the Angels Chapel, Friday, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. Through prayer and song we'll reflect on human rights in the U.S. Human Rights Day is observed every December. It was during that month in 1948 that the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The principles enshrined in the Declaration are as relevant today as they were then.
